What to avoid: Selecting enthusiasts who are pretending to be skeptics to get early access. Selecting disengaged employees who will not invest effort in the experiment. Selecting employees whose resistance stems from legitimate concerns about job elimination — that requires a different conversation (workforce transition planning), not a pilot.

Stage 2: Design Experiments That Allow Honest Failure (Week 2-4)
