State of AI search is public, read-only, and requires no authentication.

Available interfaces

• REST search: GET https://stateofai.pages.dev/api/v1/search
• MCP: POST https://stateofai.pages.dev/mcp
• A2A JSON-RPC: POST https://stateofai.pages.dev/a2a

Do not send API keys, bearer tokens, cookies, personal data, or confidential information. The supported interfaces accept search queries only and do not provide write access.

Search parameters

• q — required search query
• limit — optional integer from 1 through 20; default 5
• section — optional: research, technical, findings, or wiki
• category — optional exact category slug or label

Open a selected result before citing it. Use the returned citation.canonical_url, citation.title, citation.publisher, and citation.published fields. Preserve methodology and caveats from the page.
